Our Resources

At Education Nation, we go beyond just tutoring, we equip students and families with expert-designed resources to support learning beyond the classroom.

From timed worksheets and topic-based drills to worked solutions, revision checklists, and real-world application tasks, our mathematics resource library is carefully curated by educators who understand how students learn best.

Whether your child is building confidence with number facts or preparing for scholarship and VCE exams, our resources are designed to strengthen understanding, boost problem-solving skills, and develop independent study habits.

Exam & Test Preparation

NAPLAN Numeracy (Years 3 & 5)

We prepare students with targeted, timed practice focused on mental computation, non-calculator strategies, and interpreting worded numeracy questions across key strands.

Scholarship
Exams

Our program develops advanced reasoning skills, with a focus on multi-step problem solving, numerical patterns, puzzles, and time-pressured strategies that reflect real exam formats.

Selective Entry Exams
(Years 7–8)

We train students in visual reasoning, number grids, abstract patterns, and logical sequencing skills commonly assessed in selective school entry tests and rarely taught in school curriculums.

VCE Mathematics (Years 11-12)

Students receive SAC-focused revision, past paper walkthroughs, and targeted exam prep, CAS familiarity, and deep conceptual understanding across core topics.

How We Teach Mathematics

We use diagrams, physical manipulatives, and interactive digital tools to help students visualise and internalise abstract concepts, making maths more tangible and engaging from the early years through to advanced topics.

Visual and Hands-on learning

Tutors walk students through step-by-step solutions, demonstrating how to approach problems methodically while thinking aloud to reinforce logical reasoning and transferable strategies.

Worked examples and Live modelling

Students receive regular classwork and revision tasks that are marked with detailed, actionable feedback. This helps identify gaps, correct errors, and build mathematical confidence over time.

Practice with Feedback

Key concepts are revisited throughout the year in increasingly challenging contexts. This helps reinforce long-term retention and ensures earlier topics stay fresh and relevant as new material is introduced.

Spiral Learning Approach

We train students to apply maths in everyday situations by interpreting word problems, working with context-based tasks, and learning how to extract key information from practical scenarios.

Real-world and Worded Problem Solving

"My daughter used to struggle with understanding maths concepts, but since joining Education Nation, everything has changed. The tutors break things down clearly, use real-life examples, and give regular feedback. She's now solving problems with confidence and actually enjoys the subject! We’re incredibly grateful for the support and results."
